LOOK 10

If your eye be Single

Brian Kocourek

You've  got to doubt your doubts. You can't look at  the  circumstances  and  the  Word of God at the same time.  You've  got  to either look at one or the other. And why choose the circumstance. Choose Gods Word and be blessed.

MATTHEW 6: 19 - 34. NIV Notice:  "IF YOUR EYES BE SINGLE," not if you have only one  eye, but  if  your sight is focused in on one treasure,  not  two  or more.  But if your singleness of heart is to Focus upon  the  One True and Living God, then your purpose in Life will also be  one. Don't  FOCUS upon anything outside this WORD. Seek ye  first  the KINGDOM of GOD and all these things shall be added unto you.

PP. 65 - 66 (read). He  says, "WE SHOULD FOCUS OURSELF DOWN TO SEE THAT ONE TRUE  AND
LIVING  GOD,' Who's WORD CAN NOT FAIL". Then what does it do  for us? It stablishes us, it stabilizes us. How many want be to  more stable  in your walk with God? How many want to take Him  at  His Word every time, no matter what the circumstances?

He says, " YOU KNOW WHERE YOU STAND BECAUSE YOU'VE BEEN ZEROED IN WITH  GOD. YOU SEE YOUR LIFE HITTING THAT TARGET JUST LIKE  THOSE APOSTLES  DID.  YOU SEE THE SAME RESULTS THEY SEEN.  YOU  SEE  IT OPERATING IN YOU. YOU'RE ZEROED! YOU KNOW WHERE YOU'RE  STANDING. BUT IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT!"

There you are. What are we looking at, the promise or the circumstances.

If you are focused into this Word then nothing can separate  you from the results. Every Divine Promise of God is yours. Just here for the asking. But you've got to be zeroed in to the promise.

EX: RIFLE: Zeroed into target will hit it.

    CAMERA: zeroed into target

ABRAHAM: (ROMANS 4:16 - 22) Against all Hope he hoped anyhow.

NOAH   : (HEBREWS 11:7) All circumstances pointed against him

                            and His Message.

DANIEL : Lions den, hungry lions. His circumstances didn't look so good. And when the devil has come about  as a roaring lion what do you have your eyes on. The lion (Satan’s bluff) or God's Word.

SHADRAK : I'm sure those flames looked awesome. Just as they

MESHAK  : approached those flames, the man before them died

ABEDNIGO: from the heat of those flames. a test right up to  the last minute.

"THEN YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE STANDING. BUT IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT."

PETER: As long as He looked at Jesus he actually walked on   the water, but as soon as He turned his focus upon  the circumstances, that's when the circumstances  came upon Him and overtaken him.

JOSHUA: As long as he kept his arms raised the sun actually stood still. You realize, that it stopped the earth

from rotating, The earths rotation causes Gravity. Gravity keeps us from flying off into space.

What did it? The faith of one man.

HEBREWS 1:1 (read) substance: HUPOSTASIS: means assurance or confidence as we see in HEB 3:14 (read)

It   comes   from  2  words  Hupo   (under)   Stasis   (standing)    that  which stands, the quality of confidence which leads one  to stand under, endure, or undertake anything. It refers to the real nature of that to which reference is made in contrast to the out-

ward  manifestation.

HEBREWS  1:3  it is rendered person but actually should  be  substance. In the 4th century changed from substance to person.
