Four Points

Last week we emphasized pp. 42b (read) There are four points I want to focus on today.

 

  I) That  same  Lord Jesus is here in the form of the Holy  Ghost  to direct our thoughts.

 

We  examined  many scriptures  where He is here to  lead  us  and guide  us and to direct our thoughts. ISA 40:10-11   In  fact  we are incapable of directing our own way.  JER 10:23

 

So  God  has come down in this last hour to direct  our  thoughts    That's point #1)

 

II) He is here to focus down His Word to One True and Living God

 

Before we can comprehend what is being said here must      under­stand what it means to focus down.

   

FOCUS:  The  point  where rays of light or waves  of  sound  come together;  specifically, the point where rays of light  reflected from  a glass or mirror meet. Now remember, Br. Branham says  "He is here to focus down His Word to one True and Living God

 

Now,  denomination focus the word on denomination. Church  minded people focus the word on church and church activities. But Christ  is  here to focus down His Word to One True and Living God.  That is II COR 3:18  PT. #2)

 

III He's here to focus down His Word to One Purpose.We see in Romans 9:11 that the Purpose of God stands in Election. He is here to focus down His Word to One True and Living with Who has One Purpose: His Elect.

 

EPH 1:10, (read) Notice the words: That He might gather  together in One.

 

ROTHERHAN:  TO REUNITE HIMSELF UNDER ONE HEAD THE ALL  THINGS  IN CHRIST.

 

WEYMOUTH:  THE PURPOSE WHICH HE HAS CHERISHED IN HIS OWN MIND  OF RESTORING  THE  WHOLE CREATION TO FIND IT'S ONE HEAD  IN  CHRIST. YES, THINGS IN HEAVEN AND THINGS ON EARTH, TO FIND THEIR ONE HEAD  IN HIM.

 

This point #3, to focus down His Word to One Purpose and if  that Purpose  of God stands in Election and we see from the  scripture we  have just read in Ephesians that He has purposed  in  Himself that  He  would come down to gather together His  Elect  back  to Himself.  To reunite His Elect - His chosen in Him, back to  Him­self under One Headship - Even Christ.

 

 Look how these 4 pts tie so well together, that  br. Branham has layed out so fluently.  1st He is here to direct our thinking. Now Romans 12:1-2 tells us that we are transformed by the  renew­ing of our minds. So in order to become changed into His Image We st  must be able to see Him. Thousands of people believe that  He is here, but Hebrews tells us that without holiness it is  impos­sible  to  see God. So He is here to direct our thoughts  in  His Word.  Now what will the thoughts be directed toward. Pt  #2)  He said  to The One True and Living God. This then will bring  head­ship  back  to where it belongs, In Christ.  Christ  having  pre-eminence  in the church. Our pre-eminence is not to  be  directed towards the church or to it's people, but to Christ and He is the Word. Our focus is upon Him - which brings us back to Headship -reunited  back together with Him, as one again, how we were  with Him as we were in the beginning.

 

IV HE IS HERE TO FOCUS DOWN HIS WORD TO ONE ACHIEVEMENT. So we  must ask  the question. What is this all about? What is He  here  for. Why did God come down in this last hour and manifest Himself  the way He did and Vindicate His Presence the way He did. What is God trying to achieve.

 

Well, if He is here as we said in pt. # 3, TO FOCUS DOWN HIS WORD TO  ONE PURPOSE, then this one achievement must have to  do  with that one purpose. Then, this one achievement must have to do with His Elect.   EPH1:11, He has come for His inheritance and we  are IT!... You say, Oh! NO! That's not what it says!  Well let's see.

 

Look at Vs (18) (read) what does that say we are.

 

ROTHERHAM:  EPH  1:11  IN WHOM WE WERE TAKEN AS  AN  INHERITANCE. ACCORDING TO THE PURPOSE OF HIM WHO ENERGISETH ALL THINGS ACCORD­¨ING TO THE COUNSEL OF HIS WILL. (HE's the great energizer.)

 

WUEST:  IN  HIM,  IN WHOM ALSO WE WERE MADE  AS  AN  INHERITANCE, HAVING PREVIOUSLY BEEN MARKED OUT ACCORDING TO THE PURPOSE OF THE ONE WHO OPERATES ALL THINGS ACCORDING TO THE COUNSEL OF HIS WILL.

 

Where  the words, "We were chosen", are used, the Greek  actually says, "we were chosen as His inheritance."

 

If  you are still having some difficulty believing that you  were ordained to be His inheritance, lets read MAL 3:16-17 (read). KJV

 

Now, in the Masoretic text  it reads: THEY WILL BE MINE, SAYS  THE LORD  ALMIGHTY,  IN THE DAY WHEN I ACT. I WILL SPARE THEM  AS  IN COMPASSION A MAN SPARES HIS OWN SON.

 

LAMSA:  AND THEY SHALL BE MINE, SAYS THE LORD OF HOSTS,  ON  THAT DAY WHEN I SHALL ASSEMBLE THE PEOPLE.

 

That is exactly EPH 1:10 and Matthew 3:11-12.We can also see that we were purposed for His inheritance in  the following scriptures: DEUT 4:20,  9:25-29,  32:9

 

Now notice I PET 1:3-5 (read).

 

Now  that we see more clearly by scripture what  brother  Branham was making reference too in these 4 points in pp. 42, let's  just name these one more time before we move on.

 

I)   Christ is here to direct our thoughts. We stop and ask ourselves: to direct our thoughts to what,  to Where or to Whom? He answers that by point number 2.

 

II)  He's here to focus down His Word to One True and Living GOD. Now  most people focus their thoughts on themselves,  they  focus the  Word on themselves, their church, their creed. All you  here today  on  the radio is "We're a Family", Focus  on  the  family,  focus on relationships, focus on the children.

 

We don't need to focus on the family, we need to focus on Christ! We need to Focus on the One True and Living God!

 

There  wouldn't be divorce if the people truly believed that  God were here. There wouldn't be juvenile delinquency if there  were­n't parent delinquency, and if the parents truly believed we  are in  the last hours upon earth as we know it and that God  Himself has  come down according to I Thes 4:15-18 to take us  out,  they
would  conduct themselves like it. There wouldn't be conflict  in he  home if very one in the home saw the reality of the hour  and +the Great Presence of A Holy God among us.

 

We  don't need programs to save the children! All night  parties, skating parties, that will never prepare you for a rapture!  what about all night prayer vigil? What ever happened to that?

 

You  remember brother Branham's vision about the woman trying  to climb  that steep walk way in high healed shoes. Well,  how  much more  difficult to roller skate up that steep hill. You'll  never make it!

 

They sing the song "Oh you can't roller skate in a buffalo herd " well  the scripture says they'll never stand in the  congregation of the righteous either.

 

You'd stand a better chance in a buffalo herd than in the kingdom of God. Such nonsense.

 

Are we preparing for a rapture or for a social club.

 

WEBSTERS:  THE POINT WHERE RAYS OF LIGHT COME TOGETHER  FROM  RE­FLECTING  THROUGH A GLASS IS CALLED REAL FOCUS. It's got to be  a reality brother, sister.


 

Now, look what Brother Branham is saying here. pp. 43 (read)

 

We must focus our lives to Him! To focus on the family won't  put you  in  a rapture! But to focus on Christ. This nation  has  fo­cused it's attention on the poor for 30 years now and where  has it gotten us, Just more poor people. That's all.

 

We've  focused  on the family for 15 years now and what  has  it gotten  us,  MORE DIVORCES THAN EVER, MORE ABORTIONS  THAN  EVER, MORE TEENAGE PREGNANCIES THAN EVER.

 

We've  got to get our eyes off of the programs of youth  and  get them  onto Christ. He said, "IF I BE LIFTED UP, I WILL  DRAW  ALL MEN UNTO MYSELF."

 

You want your kids saved - lift up Christ to them. He said if you lift  Him up he will draw them to Him. Trouble is the kids  don't know Him, That is why they are not drawn to him and roller  skat­ing  programs will never do it. You've got to talk to them  about the One your hopes are built on.

 

Put  Him  1st in you day, 1st in your conversation,  1st  in  you meals, 1st in you home , 1st on the job, 1st while at play. He  is here  to  receive  Headship. He's not here to point  us  to  some church creed.
