Token no 8
It's too late to apply the Token after the
wrath of God begins
Brian Kocourek, Pastor
Hebrews 10: 29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought
worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood
of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done
despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Notice
now, that this promise from God concerns those that have done one of three
things, and in fact by doing one of these three things, they are guilty of all
doing despite to all three.
Number
1) they have trodden under foot the
Son of God. They have not shown proper respect toward the Son of God, and have
taken Him for granted.
Number
2) they have counted the blood of the
covenant an unholy thing. In other words they count the blood of the covenant
as a common thing. They do not count the blood of the covenant as something
that is precious and special, or highly esteemed and of great value to them.
And therefore,
Number
3) they have done despite unto the
Spirit of Grace.
Now,
Paul said in Romans
Now,
this might sound a little confusing so let me read this from the NIV
translation.
22 What if God,
although choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore
with great patience the objects
of his wrath—prepared for destruction?(That 's this country and this
world. Brother Branham said in 1956

time. I predict this, not by spiritual inspiration, or I don't say that, not by
vision. But this is the turning time for the

Hybrid is right.
Hybrid, they don't even know whether they're man or woman.
How
perfectly prophesied this was. Bruce Jenner, winner of the 1976 Olympic
Decathlon, perhaps the most grueling test of a man's endurance, strength, and
athleticism, father of six children he fathered, and today he wants to be
called by a woman's name, has had steroid injections to make himself look like
a woman, but he won't go all the way and emasculate himself. How perfect brother
Branham saw this in 1960. And he goes on...
That's right. You
can hardly tell what sex they belong to by looking at them and listening to
them. That's true, friends. I'm not saying that about you Christian
women. My voice is going around to many nations. But it's a hybrid. This
Brothers
and sisters, we are seeing the manifestation today what brother Branham saw in
seed form back 60 years ago.
Abraham restored 61-0211 P:55 There was God Almighty made flesh in a
commemoration that... Jesus said, "A little while and the world seeth Me no more; yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you,
even in you, in you, to the end of the consummation," all the way down
to the end of the world, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and
forever. He's here. It's Christ working in you and me and the rest of us, trying to bring
His Word together to confirm and to fulfill His Word. Why did Jesus
heal the sick for in Matthew
12, Matthew 8, I
believe it is? He said, "That it might be fulfilled which is spoken of by the prophet." The Word of God needs to be
fulfilled. This is the hour. Telepathy, they call it. They called it the
same thing there, a devil. He said, "It's unforgivable to call the Spirit of God that's working a
thing like that."
I want you to think about that 'fore you go to making your decisions. There's
a new ministry that God has confirmed, and we know it to be the God's truth.
But somehow or another it just won't work here in
Faithful Abraham 61-0312 P:74 Now, look.

we're going to reap what we sowed. She's at the end. I prophesied in 1956 when Billy

So why has God
allowed this nation to continue in it's sin for 59
years. Why has God not destroyed this nation yet, as the 7th Vision showed? Why
has he allowed the perversion to increase year after year after year? Well,
let's read again what the Apostle Paul said, and then we will find our answer
in the very next verse.
22 What if God,
although choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath—prepared for
destruction?
So the Apostle Paul
asks the question, and then he answers it. And now here is our answer to why He
bore with great patience the objects of His wrath. 23 What if he
did this to make the riches of his glory known to the
objects of his mercy, whom he
prepared in advance for glory—
Oh,
yes, he did not destroy
23 What if he
did this to make the riches of his glory known to the
objects of his mercy, whom he
prepared in advance for glory—
Notice,
God has objects of his wrath and objects of his mercy. Which one are you?
The Apostle Paul also says in Romans 2:2 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone
else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself,
because you who pass judgment do the same things. 2 Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such
things is based on truth. 3 So
when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things,
do you think you will escape God’s judgment? 4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness
is intended to lead you to repentance?
5 But because of your stubbornness and your
unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day
of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. 6 God “will
repay each person according to what they have done.”[a] 7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek
glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. 8 But for those
who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be
wrath and anger. 9 There will be trouble and distress for every human
being who does evil: first for the
Jew, then for the Gentile; 10 but glory, honor
and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 11 For God does not
show favoritism.
So
what is it going to be, because you will receive what you are sowing for, that
is a promise and that is "Thus Saith the
Lord".
Notice
the wrath of God that is coming as we see it in Revelation
6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks,
Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth
on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of
his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
Therefore, this morning I would like to speak on
paragraph 36 from the Token, and the words of brother Branham are a
very strong warning, and hence I will take our thoughts from the reading of
just one paragraph today.
36 Now, why notice, they were redeemed before there was
anything had ever happened. By faith they applied the blood. See? Before
it actually happened, the blood was applied by faith, believing that it was
going to happen. See? Before the wrath of God passed through the land,
the blood had to be applied first. It was too late after the wrath had done fallen.
Now, we have a lesson there that we could really,
maybe bring it to your thought, just a moment. Look: before it happened.
For there's
coming a time that when you'll not be able to have any blood applied.
This statement is very frightening brothers and
sisters, especially for those who have not yet been born again. Because
everything is now ready for the wrath of God to hit this earth.
The cup of iniquity is now full,
I am afraid for many of the people who are still
playing church and have not yet died to self in order to be born again. You
think you're walking in the light as He is in the light, but you are only
fooling yourself because of your theology.
Many people fool themselves into thinking they have
experienced the presence of God because they say,
"Didn't you feel the presence of God in that
service? Wasn't there such a sweet atmosphere, didn't that music or didn't that
worship bring us into the presence of the Lord." And so they
have relegated God to a good feeling and the devil to a bad feeling. The people
base their knowledge of God on feeling a sweet atmosphere around them after
hearing sweet music. But let me tell you something, that sweet atmosphere may
be a heavenly atmosphere but that is not the presence of the Lord you are
feeling.
The Bible tells us whenever the presence of the Lord
came around one of God's prophets, they fell to their feet a though they were dead
men. I think most people today have seen the Ten Commandments and brother
Branham said, Cecille B. Demille did a very good job of depicting the Pillar of
fire. But did you notice that when Moses went up and came down he looked like
he had aged 40 years? He went up a strapping young man and when he met God he
came down looking like he was 80 years of age. Old and white headed. That gives
us some depiction of what that presence must have been like to enter into the
presence of God.
Exodus 3:1 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro
his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led
the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the
Once Moses got past His meeting the Lord, he never
looked back. He was able to go down to
Unveiling of God 64-0614M P:72 See, that was so great till even the people
said; they said when they seen Jehovah come down in this Pillar of Fire and
begin to shake the earth, and the things He done, and the mountain on
fire, and even if anybody tried to go to that mountain, perished...
It was so great till even Moses feared the quake. Then if that time He
shook just the mountain, this time He will shake heavens and earth. What
about this glory? If that was veiled by a natural veil, this is veiled by a
spiritual veil. So don't try to look at the natural; break into the Spirit and
see where you're at, see what hour we're living in.
You know, Moses feared when he entered into God's
presence. And when he walked up to see how the bush was on fire, God spoke to
him and said that's far enough, take off your shoes, you are standing in my
presence.
Remember, when the three rainbows appeared to brother
Branham he began to walk up to them, and he stopped and took off his shoes,
hoping he could go closer.
Listen, God is a consuming fire, and to enter into His
presence is never in the history of the Bible been a soft and cushy thing to
do. men each time they came into God's presence they
entered with fear.
Paul
tells us in Hebrews
And
how do they fall into the hands of the living God? They come into His
presence in a way that is disrespectful. They didn't dome with their feet shod
with the preparation of the Gospel, but they come into His presence as though
it is a common thing.
They
come in a way that is not any different than they would come to any worldly
gathering, such as sport events or whatever. The Holy Presence of God has
become a common thing to them.
I
remember years ago I sat in a church in
Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the
knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful
looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28 He that despised Moses' law died
without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29 Of
how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath
trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant,
wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the
Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will
recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. 31 It
is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
And we read also in 1 Peter 15 But as he which hath called you is holy,
so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be
ye holy; for I am holy. 17 And if ye call
on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's
work, pass the time of your sojourning here in
fear:
And again we read in 2 Peter 3:9 The
Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is
longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all
should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the
Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass
away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the
earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that
all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of
persons ought ye to be in all holy
conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming (Parousia or presence) of
the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and
the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we,
according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein
dwelleth righteousness. 14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such
things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also
according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
Brother Branham himself said that being in God's
presence always affected him in a way that he could never get used to. So how is it that people think a sweet atmosphere is the Spirit of
God.
Remembering the Lord 63-0122 P:58 It's not the thing of blessing, and
shouting and screaming. That's good. Now, remember, I'm not condemning that.
But I'm telling you; that's not what I'm talking about. It's the power and the Presence
of God which brings such a holy fear, until you're
paralyzed in His Presence. You'll always remember. You remember it. And
Isaiah remembered as long as he lived. I imagine when the saws was cutting
through his body, he still remembered those angels crying, "Holy, holy, Lord God." Certainly. Jacob
in his last hours could remember those Angels ascending and descending, and it
was such a dreadful thing to him. It's not what people think it is. It's
something different. What we need to do is come into His Presence remembering Him, that He's brought us here not for frolic, but for service,
brought us in here to work for Him. He had something to remember.
it is called worship
because he hold in great value.
Now, to worship God, shows we are placing a certain
value or assessment upon Him. A very High assessment or value
to be exact. Now, if we have the wrong value or assessment our
worth-ship will be a wrong worth-ship, and thus a false worth-ship. Thus there
are many examples in the Old Testament that it was a fearful thing to Worship
God.
And throughout the Bible we see example after example
of whenever the Lord appeared to man, man became very frightened, and for a
very good reason. God is the author and finisher of Life. And in His power He
has the keys of Life and death.
In Isaiah 6:1we
read, "In the year that king Uzziah died I
saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his
train filled the temple. 2 Above it
stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered
his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he
did fly. 3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy,
holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. 4 And the posts of the door
moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because
I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the
midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD
of hosts. 6 Then flew one of the
seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: 7 And he
laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this
hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. 8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I
send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am
I; send me. 9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand
not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. 10 Make the heart
of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they
see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart,
and convert, and be healed. 11 Then said I, Lord, how
long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant,
and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,
12 And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst
of the land."
Now,
this is the day when God Himself has come down in mercy first and then
judgment.
Malachi 4:1 For,
behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud,
yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day
that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall
leave them neither root nor branch.
That is the wrath of God that is coming upon all the
proud and all that do wickedly. But there will be at that time another group of
people. Those who fear the Lord. And remember "the Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."
2 But unto you that fear my name shall
the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go
forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. 3 And ye shall tread down
the wicked; for they
shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts. 4 Remember
ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all
Now,
in Isaiah 2, this prophet who knew what
it meant to Fear God, tells us what is coming upon the
earth even in greater detail than what Malachi told us.
Isaiah
Awakening Jesus 63-0117 P:13 And I
never had anything like that to happen. Some of them say, "When you're
in the Presence of God, why don't you ask Him this or that?" It's
different than what you... See, what many people calls
the power of God is only the blessings of God. The power of God's
altogether different from the blessings of God. The power of God... In
His Presence you just don't know what to do. You just... You're--you're
so, you're so scared till you're numb all over. There's two days, even
in my back and the back of my head, and up and down my body, I couldn't feel
at all. And so, it just perfectly numbed with such a fear, when that
constellation of angels... Standing right here, not... Just
standing looking at them like I am now. And if you think that would be,
"Oh, well..." No, if you're actually there and see it, it's
different.
Isaiah 24:1 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty,
and maketh it waste, and turneth it
upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. 2 And it shall be, as with
the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as
with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as
with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the
giver of usury to him. 3 The
land shall be utterly emptied,
(the Hebrew word means
depopulated) and utterly spoiled: (the Hebrew word for soiled means plundered) for the LORD hath spoken this word. 4 The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the
world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.
(That means they will become
feeble, helpless). 5 The earth also is defiled (polluted,
corrupted) under the inhabitants thereof; because
they have transgressed (crossed over or hybridized) the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. 6 Therefore
hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate:(they
shall be found guilty) therefore the inhabitants of
the earth are burned, and few men left. 7 The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted
do sigh. 8 The
mirth of tabrets ceaseth,
the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the
harp ceaseth. 9 They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be
bitter to them that drink it. 10 The city of confusion (emptiness)
is broken down: every house is shut up,(boarded
up) that no man may come in. 11 There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is
darkened, the mirth of the land is gone. 12 In the city is left
desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction. 13 When
thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done. 14 They
shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they
shall cry aloud from the sea. 15 Wherefore glorify ye
the LORD in the fires, even the name of the
LORD God of
Respects 61-1015E P:25 Over in Ecclesiastes
the 12th chapter and the 13th verse, it's
written like this. See? "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep
His commandments, for this is the full duty of man." The conclusion of the whole matter is to fear God.
And you cannot have respects until you
have fear. You've got to have fear of God. Solomon said also in the
Proverbs that the
fear of God is the beginning of wisdom: the
fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Now, that don't mean that you're afraid of Him, but that
means that you're giving respects and reverence. And when you respect
God, you fear God. You fear that you might displease Him in some way;
you fear lest you would do something wrong. You wouldn't want to...
All
you have to do to know what is coming upon this nation is turn in your Bibles
to Deuteronomy 28 and read verses 15 through 67.
15 But it
shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy
God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command
thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
16 Cursed shalt
thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the
field.
17 Cursed
shall be thy basket and thy store.
18 Cursed
shall be the fruit of thy body, and the
fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and
the flocks of thy sheep.
19 Cursed
shalt thou be when
thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
20 The LORD shall send upon thee cursing,
vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine
hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish
quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast
forsaken me.
21 The
LORD shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed
thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess
it.
22 The
LORD shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with
an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the
sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall
pursue thee until thou perish.
23 And
thy heaven that is over thy head shall be
brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be
iron. look at
24 The
LORD shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it
come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
25 The
LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one
way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into
all the kingdoms of the earth.
26 And
thy carcase shall be meat unto all fowls of the air,
and unto the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them
away.
27 The
LORD will smite thee with the botch of
28 The
LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment
of heart:
29 And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the
blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not
prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled
evermore, and no man shall save thee. So don't look for Politics to bring you hope and
change, that in itself was a blasphemous campaign slogan as if a man could
bring such hope. But he did bring change, and that change is destruction of
everything this nation held up at one time.
30 Thou
shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build
an house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and
shalt not gather the grapes thereof.
31 Thine ox shall be
slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and
shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be
given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them.
32 Thy
sons and thy daughters shall be given unto
another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with
longing for them all the day long: and there
shall be no might in thine hand.
33 The
fruit of thy land, and all thy labours, shall a
nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and
crushed alway:
34 So that thou shalt be mad for the sight of
thine eyes which thou shalt see.
35 The
LORD shall smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore botch that
cannot be healed, from the sole of thy foot unto the top of thy head.
36 The LORD shall bring thee, and thy king which
thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have
known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone.
37 And
thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations
whither the LORD shall lead thee.
38 Thou
shalt carry much seed out into the field, and shalt gather but little in; for the locust shall consume it.
39 Thou
shalt plant vineyards, and dress them, but shalt
neither drink of the wine, nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them.
40 Thou
shalt have olive trees throughout all thy coasts, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil; for thine olive shall cast his fruit.
41 Thou
shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall
go into captivity.
42 All
thy trees and fruit of thy land shall the locust consume.
43 The
stranger that is within thee shall get up above
thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low.
44 He
shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and
thou shalt be the tail.
45 Moreover
all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake
thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst
not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his
statutes which he commanded thee:
46 And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for
a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.
47 Because
thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness,
and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;
48 Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which
the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness,
and in want of all things: and he shall put a
yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.
49 The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from
far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the
eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not
understand;
50 A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not
regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the
young:
51 And he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and
the fruit of thy land, until thou be destroyed: which also
shall not leave thee either corn, wine, or oil, or the increase of thy kine,
or flocks of thy sheep, until he have destroyed thee.
52 And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates,
until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst,
throughout all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout
all thy land, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.
53 And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body,
the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God hath given
thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith
thine enemies shall distress thee:
54 So that the man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye
shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward
the remnant of his children which he shall leave:
55 So that he will not give to any of them of the
flesh of his children whom he shall eat: because he hath nothing left him in
the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine
enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates.
56 The tender and delicate woman among you, which
would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for
delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her
bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter,
57 And toward her young one that cometh out from
between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall
eat them for want of all things secretly in the
siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall
distress thee in thy gates.
58 If
thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this
book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful
name, THE LORD THY GOD;
59 Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful,
and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues,
and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.
60 Moreover
he will bring upon thee all the diseases of
61 Also
every sickness, and every plague, which is not
written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou
be destroyed.
62 And
ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for
multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice
of the LORD thy God.
63 And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and
to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring
you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.
64 And
the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth
even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou
nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.
65 And
among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot
have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of
eyes, and sorrow of mind:
66 And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee;
and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:
67 In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it
were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it
were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith
thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.
68 And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again
with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee,
Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies
for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.
Message of grace 61-0827 P:49 The grace of God reached over in Noah's
time. Noah, just an ordinary man, he and his family, but because Noah feared
God, he believed God. You can't fear God without believing. How can you
fear something you don't believe? You've got to fear God. Solomon said,
"The fear of God is
the beginning of wisdom."
Now, just to fear God, you're beginning to have wisdom. And the fear of God,
Noah feared the Lord, and he believed the Lord. And that's what God honors,
is your faith in Him. That's right. Then when the fear of God come upon
Noah, God called him by grace, and saved him and his house, because it was
grace that did it. Not because Noah was a great big handsomer man than all the
rest of them, not because Noah went to the best church there was in the
country, not because he belonged to the best in organization, not because he
could dress better, not because he had more money, not because he was some
special person; but because of the grace of God, God saved Noah. Grace
saved Noah (not his works, but His grace) and also saved his family.
Influence 63-0803E P:42 Jesus said, "Wherever two or three are gathered in My
Name, I'll be in their midst." Then that makes Him in a world that we cannot see, that our
five senses doesn't contact. Jesus Christ is here, present. If we could
be conscious of that...And, remember, not only here, but when you're walking
down the street, wherever you are, you that profess to be believers and fear
the Lord, remember, the Angels of God are moving with you wherever you are.
They watch everything
you do, every thought that goes through your mind, and they know all
about you. Therefore, we must be conscious of that. If we're not conscious of it,
then you act any way. So people mostly today too many people, are
not conscious of the Presence of the Lord Jesus; that's the reason we have
these things that we have going on now, that's not right.
God hiding Himself in simplicity 63-0412E P:100
You've got to get away from your own thoughts. You've got to let the mind that was in
Christ be in you. You've got to stay there till every sin of fear, every
sin of doubt has gone from your heart. And if you're there, if
God doesn't take and omit your sins, and send you into the Presence of God,
there's something wrong with your experience. I don't care how many degrees
of doctor you have, how much big church you are, what kind of a big wheel you
belong to, how many organizations or whatever it is, has nothing to do with it.
Until your sins are confessed and in the Blood of Jesus Christ you stand
unadulterated, a borned again son and daughter of God, with the Life of God in
you to speak a Word of creation, "Let this mountain be moved," and
it'll mind you. Amen. God revealing Himself in humility... He picks up them
kind that has no education. He picks up them kind
that'll just believe that. "I thank thee, Father, Creator of heavens and earth,
Thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent..."
